| The goal of Viv-Ed Creations is to provide the "boldest" desserts for each of your parties, weddings or other events that are both appealing to the eyes and taste buds. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? In Harrisonville, MO at the Mill-Walk Mall at the intersection of 291 Hwy & 71 Hwy across from the Ford dealership. HOW CAN I REACH YOU? We are not your average grocery store bakery! We strive for superb quality while maintaining excellent customer service! DO YOU HAVE PICTURES OF YOUR WORK? Choose one of our examples, or create your own. See our wide range of examples in our product list, updated regularly. DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE YOUR DESIGNS? NO! That's what makes us unique. We don't expect you to flip through a book and choose a cookie cutter design. We want to create the perfect creation just for YOU! Just email us with your own idea and we'll work with you to create something perfect! That's not to say that you might not want to use one of the designs we have created thus far. That is perfectly fine also! We do our best to meet EVERY customer's needs. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS? Well, we have all baked our whole lives, but cake decorating specifically we have been doing since about 2005. Melissa, our main cake decorator, has taken classes and read a lot about how to decorate cakes and continues to learn about new techniques and design ideas everyday. If we don't know how to do something, you can be sure that we will figure out how! WHERE DID "VIV-ED" COME FROM? Melissa has known for a long time that she wanted a business of her own, she just wasn't sure what it would be. What she was sure of was that it would be called "Viv-Ed" something. Her grandmother's name was Vivian & her grandfather's name was Edgar. After taking the cake decorating classes, Melissa knew immediately that a bakery is what her business would be & how fitting to be called Viv-Ed Creations. We like to think that our work is bold in nature & Viv-Ed has a unique spin on the synonym to bold, vivid. WHY DON'T YOU HAVE CAKES IN YOUR STORE TO BUY WHEN I GO SHOPPING? Like we emphasized before, we like for our items to be fresh and if we make a cake to put in the case to sell we have no idea when it will sell. We don't want to sell you a cake that could be fresher and we also don't want to have to throw a lot of product away because no one has bought the cake out of the case. Ultimately, we want to provide you with the best tasting, greatest looking cake you have ever had and that means only special orders are taken on cakes & many of our other items. |
